Lenny rightly scathing, post match, of a stonewall pen denied again by another SFA official. Look at the tv video replay of that incident and the AR has an unimpeded view of the offender, Bates, who clearly thought there was a Hibs forward behind him and deliberately 'armed' the ball! Why is this toxic footie club being given such decisions??? They deserved nowt, not even a draw last night and their own manager admitted it! I think my original OP was accurate - Rangers so called 'good form' is a deception and they are as single dimensional as I've seen this season! A second place challenger??? No way based on my observations last night and I'm happy with Hibs progress and our general 'high pressing game' - its good to watch compared with that kinda poor, negative Rangers display last night. They were lucky, pure n simple, and I hope another opponent does exactly the same to their fans - total domination of a match and 'sucker punched'!! Also they have lost Miller for a number of weeks and that will be a big loss to them. They are actually due a thrashing by a high pressing side and, on another night, it could well have been 5-1 for Hibs after 65 mins. The 'pivotal moment' for me was Boyle's 'miss' (to make it a deserved 2-0 score line) after a terrific 'through pass' by young Shaw - he did not 'ping it' past Foderingham in the same way that Windass did it!!!
We need to convert more of the scoring opps that are created - that was the main lesson learnt tonight! Do we need another decent striker? I think we do need one. Sparky?
