Dumbarton v Hibs - 22/11/14
#2
Another excellent away win where we dominated the match for most of the time, but still managed a spell where we seemed determined to give Dumbarton hope of getting back on level terms.

An almost perfect first half, where 3 goals in 8 minutes from Allan, Malonga and Hanlon sent us in at half time with a comfortable lead, so much so that Dumbarton introduced 2 substitutes at the start of the second half. But, as ever, Hibs decided that was too big a lead and allowed Dumbarton 2 goals in reply. Malonga scored again to lead 4-2, but we lost another to bring some pressure on ourselves. Stanton came on as substitute after the third Dumbarton goal and brought some stability to Hibs play, scoring himself and then Malonga completed his hat-trick a couple of minutes later for a 6-3 win.

There's obviously a fair bit of firepower in this Hibs side and let's hope that now that we've found it, we can keep producing the goals. Immediately above us in the table, Queen of the South beat Raith Rovers to maintain their 3 point advantage, but that allowed us to open a slight gap over the Fifers.
Cabbage is still good for you
