It can be easy to have a go at players as from the stands well, it's 11 v 11 and it's a fairly flat pitch right. So why aren't we as good as ....... ????

Well if player value is any indicator of how good you might be, form being temporary and all that, maybe this will open the eyes of a few who think we should be beating some teams out of sight.



Even Bournemouth's squad is currently valued at double ours. That is how far we are behind when we cross the white line. Everton's starting 11 yesterday was valued at £9.35 million, ours was £2.78 million

As for Newcastle not being able to compete with us for players - maybe they've a few too many who are currently - erm - overvalued?

No excuse for not trying mind, you increase your value by getting better, not by sulking
