I think the 4-4-2 that we used in the second half is the way forward at the moment until we get Chadli and Morrison back. Rondon and Rodriguez have a good partnership brewing and Field on the left looks good. We need to sort out the right wing and in the centre of midfield because we were lacking in their today. Phillips or a fully fit Burke need to be on the right and then in the middle, Barry or Yacob have to be the holder and then either Livermore or Krychowiak as the central midfielder. I would prefer Krychowiak over Livermore because Livermore has been very poor this season and truly Pulised.
Defensively, Hegazi, Evans and Gibbs are solid but Nyom is the weak link. Ponderous and poor in possession and regularly caught out at the back. In January, we really need to sign a new right back, a player who is good going forward and solid defensively.
Swansea away next week and they could have a new Head Coach then if they remove Clement. It would be a funny coincidence if they replaced him with Tony Pulis and his first match is against us.
