Nice one AmChaff.
Got a slack handfull of drinking buddies who are Baggies fans so more than just a bit of interest in this game in the locals I frequent down here. Pubs wise, I noticed a request above after a nudge from her highness. The Head of Steam at the station was mentioned amongst others, there's also the King's Head at the other end of the station building. Down in town the 'Spoons pub, The Cherry Tree, on John William Street is often an away fans designated pub but I've wandered in before and found a mixed bag of fans in there. The Vulcan is really the only home fans only pub so you might get a cool welcome in there. A few make it into The Peacock on Leeds Road, on past B&Q etc, for a pint of Terrier.
If you like your real ales and you are up for a bit of a hike then the Rat & Ratchet on Chapel Hill, just off the ring road is well worth a visit. On the other hand if you just like cold fizzy lager served in a flimsy plastic beaker you can also use the bar in the cinema complex.

A guide to cask ale.
