I agree with you, SM, about the results. I think fans were prepared to tolerate this style of football if it meant we achieved enough points, and the occasional spectacular win over one of the big boys or the Vile, to ensure another season in the PL. However, this style + defeats leads to an understandable supporter reaction.
I'd love to know, having just extended his contract, if there is any current discussion about his future. You'd think there would be but I'm not so sure

You'd definitely hope that the board are beginning to start the process of identifying a replacement, because irrespective of the good work he did in his first season, he was only ever a stopgap and not part of the long term future of West Bromwich Albion.

He needed us at the time, as we needed him. He's hit the glass ceiling now though and undoubtedly, it's time to go.
