Sorry that it has been a long while coming, work and flu have taken over this week and this is the first time i've been on my laptop since.

As we all know, Huddersfield welcome minnows manchester united to the john smiths stadium, but this town team are devoid of goals and have scored just once in the last 6 games, Manchester United on the other hand have had a decent start and are looking to keep the run going as they aim to leave the shadow of notable noble neighbours such as manchester city, fc united of manchester and salford, dont listen to leeds fans who think that they still mean something to red devil fans, they dont. Whistle

As we've mentioned, town have hit a bit of a rough patch, last time out town travelled to swansea and put on what could only be called an underwhelming performance, with very little to write home about in regards to efforts on goal, with rajiv hitting the crossbar via a deflection and tom ince squandering a gilt edged opportunity, whilst also seeing a penalty 'appeal' turned down.

At the other end, defensive mistakes cost us yet again, something we are become all too familiar with, this time Lossl recieved a backpass from billing (which he probably shouldnt have considering where the swansea players were positioned) and tried to pass it to zanka, but only managed to give the ball to tom carroll who squared the ball to a player used to scoring against town in tammy abraham. Abraham scored the second goal following a tackle from Aaron Mooy which broke into the path of a swansea player before being turned home by Abraham.

Coming out of the match town also recieved more injury news with Phil Billing being ruled out for an extended period with what looks to be an achilles injury. On the other hand, Steve Mounie is expected to return to the squad tomorrow, with super collin to return to the fold in time for the Liverpool goame. Kasey Palmer is due to return to action after the next international break.

Our visitors on the other hand are having one of their best starts to season in a fairly long while, they have scored 4 goals in a match 5 times in all competitions and have conceeded only 2 goals in the league, both of those coming away at Stoke.

This close the season the self proclaimed 'special one' opened up the warchest once again, bringing in Lukaku in an eye watering deal, whilst Victor Lindelof joined in a big deal, but not quite as expensive as the big belgians. Nemanja Matic also joined from chelsea. on the outward bound departures, wayne rooney was one of the major outgoings, joining boyhood club everton, whilst former wonderkid adnan januzaj left to go to spanish club real sociadad.

Wagner will be hoping our big belgian will do better than this big belgian

The last time the two sides faced up against each other, the likes of Dennis Law, Bobby Charlton and George Best featured for the red devils. One of those used to represent the blue and white of huddersfield and there have been a fair few others that have played for both, mainly players that failed to make the cut at united and dropped down the leagues. United are unbeaten against town since 1952.

danny drinkwater- the midfielder came to town on loan in lee clarks first season, he played 33 games for town scoring two, including one in a destruction of Brighton. He has since moved on to the likes of Leicester and now resides at Chelsea.

Ronnie Wallwork- came to town on loan under either Andy Ritchie or the back end of Peter Jackson, then at West Brom. he filtered down the leagues a bit more and also found himself in trouble with the law in relation to motoring crimes.

Oliver Norwood-Was one of our first signings upon arrival to the championship. A player that had an eye for a pass but not much heart for a hard match, produced some good goals before moving onto reading, brighton and then fulham

Anthony Pilkington- Started his career in the united academy before being told he wasnt good enough. dropped out of the football league and managed to work his way back up via stockport and huddersfield, eventually returning to the premier league with Norwich, now plys his trade at cardiff city.

In regards to the side, I expect lowe may return at left back to deal with rashford or martial, with williams possibly returning to the side along with mooy. personally i would like sabiri to replace rajiv or kachunga with ince moving out wide. It may be worth putting lolley on the bench just to add to out attacking options along with the returning mounie.
