Yes but Man City and Chelsea have loads of kids on their books. Whats more they don't bring in other teams youngsters and some not very good signings to sideline their own homegrown talent.
Years ago Crewe were well known for bringing kids on and letting them play. The club flourished with good sell on fees and played attractive football.
If you were 16 and were offered terms by us and another team, if you looked at how many of our kids get a chance compared to those Barnsley or Peterborough you wouldn't give us a second thought.

City and Chelsea hardly bring any players through there youth team into the first team.

Peterborough like you mention how got a great set-up they bring players through and find gems in non-league and then sell them for a few million.
