Barry has been a good player throughout his career and can probably still pass the ball better than most of our lot BUT I really don't think we have any room for a player with no legs in the middle of the park. Given that we play with circa 30% possession every week, a lot of work is demanded from our midfielders and at 36, I doubt he's up to it.

I mean could you get a slower midfielder duo in any league than Yacob and Barry?

I don't mind IF we sign a younger player as well, but I'm not holding my breath. IMO we desperately need a box to box bomber to support the striker from the middle of the park.
