DERBY COUNTY v PRESTON NORTH END
If it's a Tuesday night can only mean a road trip to the East Midlands, fourth time I've been to Pride Park and it's been a night match every time, also means the joys of the M6 road works between Sandbach and Keele.
After Saturday's battling draw another difficult game lies ahead against the Rams who last season finished for them a disappointing ninth, they managed to get through a couple of managers Pearson and McClaren before landing Gary Rowett who is a good appointment.
Last two times we have played there we have drawn and a couple of days after each game they have potted the manager so beware Gary we want to make it a hat trick.
Only made one major signing with Tom Huddlestaone arriving from Hull although they have been sniffing around Callum Robinson although it looks as though they will eventually sign Tom Lawrence from Leicester who has asked to leave the Foxes. The Rams have had a bid already turned down for the Leicester man.
One major departure was Tom Ince which means he will not receive a torrent of abuse from the travelling support. Fair play to the Rams though for the ticket price £20 quid an absolute bargain after the extortiant amount some had to pay on Saturday.
So far this season the Rams drew at Graysonland before losing at home to the Portuguese side based in Wolverhampton

Derby County: Carson, Wisdom, Keogh, Davies, Forsyth, Huddlestone, Johnson, Butterfield (Bryson, 62), Russell (Nugent, 62), Martin, Weimann (Anya, 71)
Substitutes not used: Mitchell, Anya, Baird, Pearce, Bennett
North End will be without Pearson due to his inability at the moment to stop picking up cards, Barkuizen and Browne both left the pitch with hopefully only cramp on Saturday. Pearson will be a big miss but up to other members of the squad to prove their worth.
Personal view when the fixtures came out fully expected us to end the first five games with zero points so anything else from her until the end of August will be considered a bonus.
