Well I enjoyed it tonight we competed well against a team two divisions higher and it was only the class of a certain D. Brooks that was the difference in the end ,in fact we should have got a draw ,Gozie hit the post after rounding the keeper and being faced with an open goal.
Yooonited ensured the lions share of possession and had us pinned back at times but we always provided a threat on the break and I was most impressed with the defensive discipline.
There were some good performances but I must give a special mention to young Charlie who was a busy bee both on and of the ball and looks a good prospect despite being light and small.
Of the new guys well OG was as expected ,making a general nuisance of himself and it was good to see him find the net.Delial looks strong and quick for a teenager and will be ok in time .Gozie is a real unit big strong and with these guys plus Ricky and Kristian we have good options up front.
Jak Mcourt did well in a defensive midfield role always wanting the ball and hit the bar from fully 30 yards.
Wiseman did what he needed to do and looks like a tidy player and Anyon couldnt do much about the goals although he does look small for a keeper and didnt command his 6 yard area like Tommy does.
Overall a pleasing performance and when the injuries return we will have a good squad .
