As some of you may have found out the BBC at the eleventh hour decided to screen it on BBC2. Perhaps someone in their hierarchy read some of the criticisms on here.
Nevertheless, the BBC, in it's infinite wisdom then decided that they couldn't possibly stay around for the presentation ceremony and switched that to the red button.
Obviously deciding that the women's triathlon taking place in Leeds was much more important.
FFS that competition goes on for hours.
Surely they could have missed the first 20 minutes or so to broadcast the achievement of our young lads.
With a bit of luck, by the time one of our football teams wins another World Cup in say another 50 years, the BBC will no longer be funded from the public purse.
