Obi joined the Hornets’ Academy as an Under-11. In 2014 he netted three goals in four games for Manchester United at the Milk Cup tournament in Northern Ireland while on trial with the Reds.
He became a Watford scholar after signing a two-year deal with that club in 2014 and signed a one-year professional contract to take effect in 2016/17 following his scholarship.
Now, I realise kids often  progress backwards and early promise turns into Jacob Mellis, but Ogo Obi clearly had something quite recently. Recruiting the the young worked for Jeremy Corbyn. That might be just the kind of momentum we need as a club.
Problem is Dev despite all the huffing and puffing and all the rhetoric, he lost by a big margin. Didn't even get close.
Maybe we should get in a load of Oap's. At least 10 across the goalmouth with the keeper in front of them the whole game in an 10-1-0-0 formation. Crutches and zimmer frames should mean no handball. Do you think it will catch on? Would be more entertaining than the garbage served up last season that's for sure.
