If we've got Category 1 status - whatever that means or they can't get 16 teams that do.

According to this site Terriers have Cat2 Status. Don't know whether promotion changes anything.

Well given they managed to find 16 out of the 24 Cat 1's (whatever bribes it took) to join in last time, there would have to be fewer than that this time before they look at Cat 2's. Given our promotion and record in the Cat 2's we'd be up there I'd think. As the EFL 1 & 2 clubs apparently voted to keep the same format you'd think if 16 Cat 1's don't volunteer for something they apparently asked for then the EFL could happily tell them to shove it. They probably won't though.
