To play devil's advocate, it's all relative though, isn't it? I mean, if (say) Hartlepool fans saw the way we've carried on about Pulis at times, and particularly the moaning that we finished 10th instead of 8th in the Premier League, I'm pretty sure they'd give us both barrels for how spoilt we are, and how hard life must be for us watching top-flight football year in, year out. Even if you were to patiently explain that our win record for the last three months is desperately poor no matter which division you're playing in, I expect we'd get the world's smallest violin from them at best.
Same goes for Arsenal. It's a simple fact that they're one of the richest clubs in the world, and yet they don't punch anywhere near the weight they should. Yeah, we'd love to have their "problems", but then plenty of clubs would love to have ours in turn.
(Whether or not this is actually Wenger's fault I don't know, but I suspect that the sudden sense of urgency on the subject has more than a little to do with Spurs finally overtaking the Gooners this season.)
