So a question to pass the closed season. If Fletcher was to go to Stoke (really???), would it be proper grammer to sing West Brom Reject in the plural.
On a more serious note, as serious as it can be based on press speculation, assuming Fletcher has already been offered two new contracts, which he has turned down and reports that we are about to go back with another improved offer to keep him, are we going to be paying over the top??
Fletchers contributions have been noticeably going downhill from towards the end of his first season, personally I would not be offering an "over the top" contract just to keep him, he is IMO fast approaching his use before date with his best before date already past. Again IMO Fletcher was uncountable a class player in his day, but i think Yacob is better at the job as a defensive midfielder, but Fletch is more creative, but these days if you were to look at him just as a creative midfielder, there are better out there, I would even go as far as to say we have better creative players in the squad, if they were allowed to play creatively.
