I'd love to know what the owner and his management team regard as acceptable. Five points out of 36 is appalling, any manager would be dismissed for that. Disappointingly, we know this will not apply to Pulis because there seems to be a view that only he can keep us in the Premier League. This is patent nonsense but what we can guarantee is that, in endeavouring to do so, his football will be wretched with no concern for the paying fans. I can't understand why the owner would give him his allegedly required £40 million, does anyone on this site have any confidence he would spend it players that would transform the side and it's style of play.
