I feel heartened to hear Charlie's and Ollie's comments. (Not so confident about Blades's fans, though!) Perhaps I/we are getting over-sensitive because we'd feel the same after watching the Albion a few times.
The reason I posted the thread was to gauge opinion, 'cos some Firey Mousse types on another Board worship Pulis for keeping us in there, won't hear a word against him, and believe that being in the Prem is literally all that matters.
I actually, honestly, preferred the Championship days when every match was vital, and away support was phenomenal. And 7 games out of 10 I'd actually go home happier than when I set out. I would be just as happy and proud, though, if we maintained mid-table in the Prem, (with 1/2 the games being non-vital) if we'd only try and play some football. We have done it this season, and round about February I honestly thought it had finally dawned on Pulis that there was more than one way for little Albion to survive at this level, like Saints, Bournemouth, Palace etc have done.
Would I swop with Charlie and Imre??? It's 59 years since my 1st match, so the answer's NO. But my 4 games a season might dwindle.......
ps And if he DOES bring in John Terry ( as B'ham Mail think), at £5m pa, you watch those S/T sales dry up this summer.
