St Charles, you are right, it might just be a dangerous bargaining tactic, " we won't be held hostage " etc etc, we moan and shout when the big four / six come in and steal our youth team players for their D and E teams for next to nothing but we are acting in the same way. yes he is out of contract but Leeds have invested time and money and they deserve a return on that. We are linked with 30 or 40 million pound foreign players, he is young and British, a gamble in the top flight but then so is a foreign player .... don't negotiate by making threats ...May / EU also take note.
