I did say it half in jest but thinking about it more he may be ideal. He would be a shoehorn with our current owner that's for sure, but you cant deny that he must have something on the footballing side.
He did absolute wonders with Rotherham on a limited budget and has more than a few promotions under his belt during his career. Like him or loathe him he doesn't mince his words and would shake up our remaining players into some kind of team.
At least there would be something more tangible in the brown paper bags rather than the sick feeling most of the fans have been carrying around in them this last season.
