The point is that we have given several of our own youngsters contracts. If we have no intention of playing them then why offer them contracts? It must be soul destroying to be offered a pro contract then watch a steady stream of other teams players be selected ahead of you.
I have said all along get our own youngsters in, give them a chance to prove themselves. Mix that young blood with a few seasoned pro's and we might just hold our own next season.
