It's sadly what I'd call a 'big minority' edgie and we've witnessed their 'crass, unacceptable form' many times in the past in the likes of Manchester, London, Newcastle, Barcelona and closer to home - Glesca and other Scottish cities. I've said in previous blogs/OPs that the number of victims/casualties is one of the biggest cover ups of modern times in Scotland although these details can be found if you look hard enough with the likes of Nil by Mouth being one source of info but there are others. We live in 21st century Scotland and yet we still observe this 'dinosaur culture' that has been tolerated and 'swept under the carpet' for years by not applying more stringent rules, such as strict liability, on the offending footie club itself and, more importantly, applying tough measures when required and where it hurts.
