I'm thinking we need a striker and a big powerful guy who plays up front too who can win aerial battles at this level, so that's two players, especially if I'm right that someone is buying Ricky German. Armand?

An LB who likes pushing forward into wing back looks a necessity. Donohue doesn't seem quite to fill any of the briefs defence to midfield, but he's young and might improve to cover everything.

A CB who is big and fast would be a delight, but we've got three CBs already. Will we play 3 at the back next season?

Midfielders; we need more ability to win the ball consistently in midfield AND the ability to drive forward from there and score goals. I'm not sure how much of that we've got in the seven midfielders we already have. Or how many players we have to sign to do it. And who that will maroon on the bench.

I'm happy enough with Dylan Parkin as reserve keeper but I'd like to know that means we have a fully-fit Tommy in prospect. Don't know whether I'd fancy Lincoln and Matt Rhead away with an 18 year-old unproven keeper. It would be a big ask, but then full pro' from a junior is a big ask too.

Am I right in thinking Ofoegbu is a first year student with us, so could be available for another season? It seemed he had definite first-team potential and might provide defensive cover during the season. Or is he now deadwood?
