Yes Lolley was quiet in the first half but I thought he was excellent first half and we defended resolutely. If it wasn't a very fortunate deflection we'd all be sat here saying 'those are the games you show bottle to win'. Yes we didn't win it in the end but it was still a good performance.I think most of the comments tell you on here that most Town fans thought it was poor.
Even if we had won, it was still poor from us. Lost the ball far too quickly, no threat on the break, and even our best players didn't play well. If you call that having a game plan executed well, then maybe you should watch a Wigan or Blackburn....not a team still challenging for an automatic place.
We were not good at all....you say only VLP had a bad game....tosh.
Where was Mooy? Or Hogg? Lolley again far too lightweight. Our only players deserving a mention were Quaner, Hefele and Schindler. All 3 played well.
If we had won, you would not have heard me say we showed bottle...you would have heard me say we got away with one there.
This happens to every team in the world. You will not always play well...some of the bad games you will win...some you will lose. I think the honest answer, and I think Wagner does say this, is that we didn't play well, let's move on from it and regroup and come back stronger.
