If DA wanted us to have a big budget ....... I suppose we could. Whether that would even be a good thing I don't know. We are already in a hole, is more digging strongly recommended?
Like Matt I think it'll be youth players, frees and perhaps discoveries. (If Branston is the man he talks up, not the centre back I saw on the field, that is.)
Pooch, I imagine Dancing blames Carson for most things now because he now appears to be DA's puppet. My only argument with that position would be that he's pitching at an Aunt Sally as I did over Chris Turner and you do all the time about Danny.
There's always someone else to deflect the blame for Mr Allen. He has made us whatever we are and that includes both the good and bad. I can't guess his motive for this season's debacle, but he's clearly been the controlling influence. And now apparently he's selling the club and simultaneously commenting on next season's budget. Those two positions don't fit well do they? It's like trying to make sense of the machinations of a Trump or a Putin. If I were Mr Carson I wouldn't know whether the honourable thing was to do would be to battle through for the club and its fans, or walk away before I went mad and/or got into something discreditable/criminal.
If Carson were a good man, how the hell could we possibly tell? He looks good in a suit, but as Ken Livingstone would tell you lots of xxxx looked good in their uniform. Good god this system edits out the word N*A*Z*I, they were/are a historical fact. What a world. Snowflake generation creating an avalanche ....
