I was going to but changed my mind at the last minute and decided to go watch Buxton play Stourbridge. I got chatting to a scout about Chesterfield and football in general, he told me he's good friends with Chris Turner and asked me about was going on at the club.

I thought I was being outrageous forecasting a 5-0 defeat at Bolton, a 10-0 forecast from Matt ........... what can you say, it's like registering mild surprise at a North Korean nuclear attack on Glossop.

Was a surprise, Bolton have been doing well in the league and have put 4 goals past Oxford, Gillingham and Fleetwood before they played us, so to go there and come away with a clean sheet and a point is a good result but a win would have been a fantastic result.

With 5 games to go and because we are pretty much relegated we should put a few youth players in the first team and see how they fair, also it gives them experience and never know if a few show something promising they could be in the first team next season.
