No Matt. Was on the verge of going then remembered the first half performance the week before and thought better of it. Nothing worse than watching your team being run over. Must admit the result was a surprise.

I was going to but changed my mind at the last minute and decided to go watch Buxton play Stourbridge. I got chatting to a scout about Chesterfield and football in general, he told me he's good friends with Chris Turner and asked me about was going on at the club.

By the way I love Matt's understatement, "was a bit surprised we managed to get a draw". I thought I was being outrageous forecasting a 5-0 defeat at Bolton, a 10-0 forecast from Matt ........... what can you say, it's like registering mild surprise at a North Korean nuclear attack on Glossop.

Was a surprise, Bolton have been doing well in the league and have put 4 goals past Oxford, Gillingham and Fleetwood before they played us, so to go there and come away with a clean sheet and a point is a good result but a win would have been a fantastic result.

With 5 games to go and because we are pretty much relegated we should put a few youth players in the first team and see how they fair, also it gives them experience and never know if a few show something promising they could be in the first team next season.
