I wasn't displeased with that, only the second time since GC's arrival.
Don't think we just parked the bus. Certainly we caught Bolton on a bad day. But you do have to learn to stay in the game against better teams if you're going to get anywhere. And Maguire and Rowley getting another 90 minutes each has to be a positive. (The average age was pretty good till we brought on SEB!) Gardner still appears a conundrum though, another O'Shea? He can play for sure, but he can also be off sick whilst still on the field.
Don't know whether Guy's appointment in charge of Development means we're in a pickle or getting on the right bus ........ but we do have to have a way of moving the club forward other than waiting for the first team to succeed, or a sugar daddy to intervene.
With a centre back as manager and another in charge of development can't say why they wouldn't bring back Raglan for a look-see before the end of the season. Hope it isn't the Chapman syndrome - scared to put him in the team in case he plays well and we feel we should offer him another contract .......... (Surely GC and GB would be better judges of his ability than DW, DS, or PC.)
