I remember watching that match in my shared flat in my first year of University. It was the day before I went to Amsterdam with my University course and my flatmate, who was a Newcastle fan, tried to hide from me for the rest of the day.
The passing and movement that day was when everything under RDM just clicked. Those first 5 months of the 2010/2011 season were very good. Even when we lost we still looked good such as when we managed to outplay Blackpool away with just 9 men on the pitch. It's a shame that RDM couldn't turn things around 3 months later which led to his sacking.
Anyway, onto the match on Sunday. I think Irvine will stick with the same starting 11 as last week with the exception of the suspended Gardner replaced by Mulumbu. Hopefully Blanco and Ideye will be back on the bench.
