We last did six consecutive league wins at this league level in 1969, over two seasons though, winning the last three of 68/69 and the first three of 69/70.
The last time we did 7 wins in a row at this league level was in 1919/20. We managed 8 then and it was the last 8 games of the season. We then won the next three of the next season, in the first division, to set a club record of 11 straight league wins. In between this run we lost the FA Cup Final against Villa, so some people will no doubt say this record doesn't count.
As mentioned earlier, the last time we won 7 in a row in any league was in the 3rd division in 82/83.
