The Scottish Men did the business today, although their final win went right down to the wire. They finished strongly against Turkey this morning to win 7-4, after being 3-4 down at the fifth end. In their second game they were never behind against Canada, but still had to go to an extra end for victory by 9-8.
Korea will play USA in the 1v2 game tomorrow, with Scotland qualifying in 3rd place. They await the winner of the tie-breaker between Canada and Norway in the 3v4 game.
The Womens' round robin also concluded today where previously qualified Scotland were joined by Sweden, who beat Switzerland 6-4, and Canada, who won 9-3 against USA, for tomorrow's games. Scotland will play Sweden in the 1v2 game tomorrow and Canada await the winner of the tie-breaker game between Korea and Switzerland for the 3v4 game.

the winner of the 1v2 games go directly to the Gold Medal game. The loser will play the winner of the 3v4 game in a further game to decide the second team in the Gold Medal game. The loser of this further game will play the loser of the 3v4 game for the Bronze Medal.
