Brown Ideye becomes the first Albion player to score a winner against Stoke at the Hawthorns since Scott Dobie; 14th March 2015
We begin February on 33 points, just a win or two away from effectively securing our safety for the season, and with ample opportunity to do so this Saturday with the visit of Stoke to the Hawthorns. Of course, the main talking point will almost certainly be whether or not Mark Hughes will choose to throw newly-signed Saido in at the deep end in this match, but away from that particular soap opera, there's every chance that Albion will be able to extend our current unbeaten record against the Potters to an unprecedented five matches in a row.
There are a few cracks in the side which haven't been adequately filled or even papered over in this transfer window, but perhaps we have our own secret weapon to deploy: what a time it'd be to see a Marc Wilson hat-trick...
