....just to carry this on, this apparent lack of motivation/effort for the cup games isn't just a WBA thing is it? It seems to be a sad reflection of how all the so-called 'BIG' clubs treat these games, and for some reason that rubs off onto the players. THAT, IMO, is the worst thing - players who are paid bloody good money not giving 100% for the supporters who shell out to see half-hearted performances.
