If he is serious about defending the Cup he should take no chances. Obviously take 3 key players off once the tie is fully under control but start with the strongest squad.
True this should be a stroll but the history of football is littered with games which haven't gone anywhere near a form book or bears any relation to leagues that teams play in.
You only have to watch the games last night in the FA Cup where 2 non league teams won .....and deservedly so. I agree there is a bigger gulf in divisions in Saturdays game and it should be Hibs by 4 or 5 goals but Hibs need to be up for it from the first kick and stamp their authority on the game with early goals.
Their ( Bonnyrigg) team talk?..........park the bus , keep it 0:0 as long as possible and look for a set piece later on. This is the same as most teams that play us in the Championship so we should be used to the tactics and have the ability to create chances and hopefully put a few away.
