People who, when answering ANY question, start with "so.....".Really winds me up - seems to be a modern trend of talking....
.....as does the way that lots of folk turn up the inference at the end of EVERY sentence, as if they're asking a question. Think this was started by our Australian friends from Neighbours. AaaaAgghhh!

Thanks, Drewks. Glad I'm not the only one to get irritated by those.
Another one's from the Yanks (I think):

"Have you got any (say) ketchup?"
"Yes we do".

- it's "Yes we have, Yanks. We invented the bloody language.

I refuse to take on any new sayings 'cos I know they're American or Oz............. sad old twat that I am.
