Wow what a gloomy thread this is today people.
I personally am quite optimistic and am sure AC will be thorough in his approach to finding a successor although we all know it is a bit of a lottery finding a succesfull manager
One criteria I would use is to try and 'buy' another manager rather than drag one in off the street ,I know this could cost money in compo but it could be worth it .The only time I can remember us doing this was with Paul Cook from Accy ,who you lot know is my favourite town manager of the last 40 years .
A name I'm throwing out there is Shaun Derry.Currently at Cambridge ,young and quite progressive in his profile and possibly unfairly sacked at Notts County .Probably wouldn't cost that much, BUT ,they play Leeds tonight and if they get a result it will probably increase his profile and rule us out .
PS I hear Jose is in the running ........
