Wells is worth more than £10m in today's market. He is a crucial cog in ojr well oiled machine. I was glad to see that the commentators last night had noticed all the work off the ball he does. His game, like Kachunga, is not just about putting the ball in the net.
Having said that, another top class striker would be welcome. We didn't need another striker in 1979, but that didn't stop Mick Buxton going out and buying Steve Kindon or Ian Greaves buying Dick Krzywicki in 1970.
