I'd be delighted with votes for 16 year olds.
Don't really see the correlation between youth and the EU when Italy runs youth unemployment at 40%, Spain's over 30 isn't it, Greece is almost everyone ...... The palpable failure of EU countries is why we've had such disquiet over immigration. You're young, ambitious and you want to make a life for yourself ...... if you are Greek, Italian, Spanish or French or Polish this is the place to be .....
The mantra seems to be that people who voted for Brexit are are suffering voter regret. For myself, as more evidence accumulates of the crumbling nature of the EU I find it difficult to understand why remainers aren't changing their minds in droves. I voted BREXIT with ONLY THE FUTURE in mind.
The idiots in the negotiations will be by no means confined to our side. The problem will not be with our negotiating skills or our aims and objectives, it will be getting anything like an agreed, consistent voice from 27 countries which share very little in common. They won't be able to give us favourable terms simply because they cannot possibly agree them amongst themselves.
The EU's inability to cope with a country leaving is a demonstration of why it is an organisation without a future.
