When I was a 16 year old apprentice, the older guys kept saying - "come the revolution, things will change". Nearly 60 years on and still awaiting the revolution that will never come. As long as I live I know for fact that things will never change because for all people may talk about it, bottom line is they are shit scared of it.
The status quo will remain. I was scared and still am of a future outside the EU. Yes we may make a go of it but looking at the egotistical idiots currently running our country I doubt very much that we will. Leaving the EU is going to be a long hard process just to get the powers that be in this country to agree a way forward even before we start negotiating with Europe.
Its the people of Matts generation I am sorry for. It doesn't matter what we do now its going to cost them and cost them dearly. Maybe when we had the referendum people over the age of 50 shouldn't have had a vote because it really was a vote about the future, not a protest vote against the establishment.
