I wasn't asked to vote for a hard or soft Brexit.I understood it to be a simple in or out.Voting for Brexit and all it entails or staying in the Euro and all that entails.
But if I'm honest my vote was really a vote against the establishment ,the Liberal elite. The politicians, the academics, the celebrity luvvies .
The one thing this has done is confuse me as to which party I have the most affinity with .I'm disgusted with most Labour MPs who are daring to question their own constituents and try and tell us we were wrong to vote Leave. If it does come to a Parliamentary vote they would not dare vote against the will of their constituents or their job will be on the line .
I am ready for a new party to be born ,a party which is proud of its British heritage but is also focused on fair financial equality.,giving opportunities for everyone.A party which represents the ordinary working man.Which I feel none of the main parties do at the moment. Over the last 40 years whether its been Tory rule or New Labour ,the gap between rich and poor has continued to widen .There is a programme on tomorrow called Slum Britain which suggests that poverty rates nowadays are as great if not greater than 50 years ago. This cannot continue.
