Huddersfield will be without striker James Vaughan who has a calf injury.
Midfielder Duane Holmes was recalled from his loan spell at Bury, but needs to impress in training before he can feature in the first team.
Nottingham Forest could give a debut to winger Tom Ince who joined the club on loan from Hull.
Jorge Grant has a minor knock and is unlikely to be involved, while Andy Reid (groin), Jack Hobbs (ankle) and Chris Cohen (knee) are still out.
