After a nip and tuck game, Sweden's skip, Niklas Edin, drew the shot with his last stone in an extra end to win Gold, beating Norway by 6-5. This win gives Sweden their third consecutive European title, equalling Scotland's feat from 1994 to 1996 (just had to get Scotland in somehow!).
From the B Division, Netherland's Men beat A Division Austria to qualify for the 2017 World Championships. Italy from the A Division beat Hungary from the B Division in the Women's equivalent tournament.
