WBA vs Burnley - Match Thread

I'm late getting in on this one but after watching the SS recording i made due to working that night I made a few observations. Firstly I don't think we played that much different than usual we still counterattacked and allowed them to come on to us. However we pressed very high and with real intent the likes of Morrison and rondon worked very very hard and caused burnley so many problems. The early goal was the big plus because it meant they had to come out and attack which they like us don't usually like to do and it played right into our hands. We took our chances this time some good goals 4 out of 6 on target not bad for a team that doesn't score that many. Outstanding players for me Rondon (he's becoming immense he's got used to the prem is getting better and better and for a big lad he sure can motor he was like Jonah Lomu when he chased a ball he headed out of our box and won a free kick right down their end I really like this guy and I hope he sticks around and doesn't get the berabug. Morrison oh how we've missed him seems quicker more direct stronger and willing to tackle harder than ever before. Brunt I like this bloke he's been with us through thick and thin and is one of our better ball deliverers. The back four from this game is our best option yacob does what he does well. Foster kept a clean sheet dealt with what little they had and seems more in control of his area now. McClean has his critics but like rondon and morrison this guy is strong and quick if he has a fault its his final delivery he needs to get his head up and have a look he seems to do all the hard work and running but then his final pass is lacking a bit of accuracy and quality and its a shame. So to sum up I witnessed a team that worked 'ard with less possession than opposition but was lethal on the counter That's TP style through and through and on monday it worked a treat. To finish I'll leave you with a very weird coincidence that I swear is the truth and nothing but... On sunday night i had a dream. I was playing for WBA on the old school pitch I played as a kid and we scored 3 goals then I woke up lol! The next day my Tottenham mate at work texted me and said did i know if Morrison was fit because he'd put a bet on 3-1 wba win morrison to score before he checked if morrison was fit Doh! I told him I didn't know if he was fit but went on to explain my dream which matched his 3 goals bet and jokingly i said so you're good for that bit at least. Then as previously mentioned I was at work and busy and the first time I got to look at the score it was HT and i was waited for the BBC sport page to load up with that apprehensive bit of worrying doubt I always get Imagine my disbelief when I saw 3-0 =8-o Of course we went on to make it 4-0 but it was still spooky at the HT point
