In some ways it's not much different to Obama appointing Hillary Secretary of State after their bitter Democratic nomination campaign. At least they agreed on a lot of policies but they said some bad things about each other.

Re President Obama, is this latest news a case of Obama 'keeping his powder dry' until the appropriate moment. I'd expect and hope that Obama sticks to his convictions and strong ethical values and will respond at some point as a US citizen because I don't expect Trump to fail in delivering many of his extreme RW authoritarian policies that have alarmed many American voters as well as other observers world wide.
