Decent performance though. Apart from a 15-20 min spell in the second half, looked comfortable and in control.
first defeat for leicester at KP since arse a year ago not bad huh

The main difference is the result - because we won, everyone seems to be saying we played more expansive. I personally didn't see any difference from the last few away games.
IMO we played the same way as against Sunderland, Stoke and Liverpool. Setup to be hard to beat and play on the break. We did it reasonably well, but there were still flaws - Rondon still looked isolated, we still played the ball backwards far too often and caused a lot of our own problems doing so.
On the day, we were the better side with this setup and deserved to win. Leicester created very little and like at Sunderland, we did look threatening on the break at times. That said, the main difference with the Sunderland game is that Leciester gifted us a goal; which Phillips took very nicely.
Regarding Leicester, with the exception of Mahrez, I think they look very ordinary. They've tried to add that bit of quality with Musa and Slimani but it seems to have upset their core setup. Slimani and Vardy are both out and out strikers and can't really play together, while Musa in for Albrighton doesn't seem to have helped their balance. Kante is an obvious miss.
I said after watching them lose 4-0 to United earlier in the season that IMO they'll be in for a relegation dogfight and on the evidence of today, I stand by that. I actually think if we didn't get ourselves in trouble so often playing backwards so much, we could've won by more goals.
They are struggling coz of the classic champions league fixtures scenario but don't dismiss our game plan today we took it to them and upset the odds.
All those who thought TP is a one trick pony maybe need a rethink. Leicester are a counter attacking team and some could say we played into their hands by going at them from the off. I say that we surprised them and caught them cold two counter attacking teams leicester have pace we don't we have set pieces they cant defend them but we played in their faces today and that was down to TP tactics. I thought we played brilliantly lets not be churlish for once this was an essential win today and we took it on merit star players for me phillips rondo morrison brunt foster solid back four. no complaints here lets for once all agree and enjoy being 11th not 17th tonight

I wonder if we could fit Morrison Phillips and Chadli into the same team at home especially.
Footballers in Midfield made a huge difference,
And we had a go at them for once,
People saying Leicester were poor is a shame as we played a lot differently today
Please note TP![]()
Phillips best game for the Baggies by far today.
But again surely this was due to us playing more in the opposition's half ?
Much needed win..........
Next three games same mentality please, because these games against Burnley, Hull & Watford could go along way to our survival before we roll up to Stamford Bridge
totally agree beefy leicester weren't poor

one last gimmicky thought for tonight. I wasn't in the rehearsal studio today but i did work in my home studio and ignore the game. Spooky or what ;-)
