Parliament voted on a referendum and they lost 6 to 1. They held the referendum and the majority didn't get the result they wanted but they can't turn around now and vote down triggering article 50 as the whole exercise then was a waste of time and money and would go against democracy. If we have another referendum it will be the third referendum on this subject not the second as the first was in 1975, but we can't keep having referendum after referendum until they get the result they want because that's undemocratic and it's what the European Union did to Ireland on the Lisbon treaty asking them to keep voting till the European Union got the result they were happy with. I didn't vote for this Government does that mean I can have another ballot? and we rerun it?
If the MPs go against the public and the result of the referendum then when there is another general election (which looks very soon) they will not bother voting.
