Slick, have to agre with what you say about other PL teams. I watch multiple games every weekend and have seen you guys play 3 times, and each time I have been surprised to see you play some good stuff despite what I read on here!! I don't see you as any different to about 10-12 other teams in the Prem, its all about survival, its all about being difficult to break down and beat and then its a bout a smattering of flair players to try to counter or get a set piece winner yourselves.
If you take out the top 6-8 teams the rest have mostly signed foreign players who most of us have never heard of let alone seen play. Sometimes they get it right, read Payet, Mahrez or Cante but others have turned out to be no better than many other English players. Pulis likes the backbone of the team to be British but with Chadli and Rondon he has two players who can turn a game when the chance presents itself. He will keep you up, that is what the new owners are surely banking on, which in turn will give them time to pump some serious money into the team and hopefully establish you in a safe midtable position. I am sure there are plenty of managers who would take the job but there aren't many around with the experience nor record that Pulis has, it might be football that is functional rather than expansive, exciting stuff, but it will likely keep you in the top flight which has to be the aim!!
