Why not scrap the Champions league?. Perhaps that would solve your problems. Your team don`t even play in the English football league, yet get seeded into the Cup half way through, after grassroots teams have battled to get where they are in the hope of catching a "big" draw to pay for the seasons costs. You could just not enter the competition.
