It transpires that the club is operating at a small profit for the financial year up to 30 June 2016 and the main reason for this positive result is the participation in two cup finals last season - the main factor in Hibs 'operating successfully as a Premiership club outside the Premiership'! It's also worth noting that Hibs fans now own 31.8% of the club - a great commitment by many of our fans (incl me!) to plough money into Hibs FC in order to help the funding of sporting ambition - 2400 independent fans/shareholders to be exact, with other Hibs fans funding through Hibernian Supporters Ltd. We'll hit the 50% mark eventually and it is ultimately down to desire and commitment by the fans who loyally back the club! Promotion is targeted as the main sporting challenge for this season although I'd still like to see us defend our Scottish Cup with the same level of desire and commitment.

IF we can get ourselves out this lousy, league i think hibernian could well be completely transformed, go into a new era and be one of the top clubs in the scottish premiership. The platform is there to build on with the fans involvement, the support turning out in expectation and an experienced, solid manager to hopefully guide us along.
Dempster hasn't dished out silly money either to jeopardise our future,we need to do this the right way.

One thing she did emphasise last night was the expectancy that Hibs were gonna downsize was merely an assumption and it was never gonna happen to a club with the huge potential and assets that it holds. She ensured that Hibs would be transformed and hugely reorganised into one of the most well run footie clubs in Scotland with terrific facilities that will attract many interested players and there is also an appropriate video 'sales pitch' that can be used during any approach to eg a foreign player who may interest Hibs.

As far as executives in football go then Leanne Dempster seems to be a breath of fresh air. Aside from the obvious fact she is a woman in what is still a male dominated arena, she comes across in what I have read as someone who gets it from the average fans point of view, again something that is less common than it should be. Of course your future really hinges on getting out of the Championship, you have been there too long already and if you want to achieve what she says she wants to then you need to be in the top flight asap!!

Leanne Dempster is like a lot of other people who have worked for HFC not realising how big the club really is.
But now LD has been taken aback with the size of the club she is clearly working on bigger things for HFC which can only be good for the club @ fans.
The thing I find with LD she's honest and takes time out to talk to the Corporate People or the ordinary guy who pays his money there's no differences everyone is treated he same. And people respect that in her there's no doubt she's going to take us forward once were back in the SPL things will move along nicely I feel

Football is still sadly riddled with these kinda antics and I can't see it changing any time soon apart from confronting and policing the worst elements of this kinda unacceptable behaviour in the civilised society that we live in!

Its not only football that sees this sort of anti-social behavior. The advent and prevalence of social media, most with a lot of anonymity, has seen a rise in this behavior across multiple areas, especially in politics these days with the US election, Brexit referendum and your own independence referendum being prime examples.
