Why the hell not? We've won every game by the odd goal and ridden our luck on a couple of occasions, but we have deserved to win every game that we have and the draw at Villa was a fair result. So keep playing to our strengths and why the hell not?

things we have learned
Town are winning simply because they believe they can.

every game town have won has been by 1 goal, Schindler , Lowe and Ward best signings Wagner has made

Aaron Mooy is too good for the championship and might be a robot ( 2 games on the other side of the world last week, plays 100 mins scores winner today )

David Wagner knows more about football than you do

whatever happens tuesday we'll still be top of the league ( nope still not sunken in yet)

That was a very petulant Gary Monk on the radio. According to him we were evenly balanced and the goal came from the one player who should have already been sent off. He refused to answer some of Adam Pope's questions, denied he knew anything about our system, and wrote off concerns of fans by saying he wasn't concerned about anyone not from within the club. If that wasn't a man who knows he's about to be sacked or at the very least on borrowed time I don't know what is. Even Noel Whelan and Gareth Jones said he was deluded! They said they didn't know what match he had been watching.

Just got back to our premier inn for the night in Wakefield. What an absolute magic day. One of the best away days I've ever had watching Town. Bar one unsavoury chant to Leeds fans, our fans outsung the entirety of Elland Road and were amazing. Had to stand up all game but couldn't give a monkeys. First of all, the ref was absolute bollocks. 8 minutes of extra time and in all honesty should have given each side a penalty. Any one of Mooy, Schindler, VLP, Kachunga could have got MOTM but I'm going to give it to Mooy for the goal. I said half way through the game to my old man that a moment of magic will win this for either side and it's got 1 goal in it written all over it, thank god that came true for us. Despite having a stress level of 12/10 all game bar two guilt edged chances for Chris Wood Ward didn't have a save to make and all their tactics resorted to long balls. We dominated possession and built from the back. Was great to see no shouts of GERRIT FORWARD and patience from fans for us to build moves. We looked a class apart. Player ratings below:

Ward - 8 - Assured as usual, came for crosses when he needed to, dominated the box and was a calming influence.

Schindler - 9 - what a player this guy is. Oozes class, makes defending look easy and bar a penalty he should have conceded, was a rock all game. Even whilst getting clattered twice by appalling challenges.

Hudson - 8 - did nothing wrong. Won his headers and looks a better player alongside Schindler.

Lowe - 8 - same for Hudson, calm, composed and did his job to perfection.

Smith - 7 - needs to sort out his crossing but defended resolutely and is improving all the time.

Hogg - 8 - did his usual stuff, tackled, pressured, led from the front.

Mooy - 10 - Absolute general. At times when he's plodding about he looks like Danny Adams but then he pulls out absolute ridiculous passes, best midfielder I've ever seen in a town shirt. One play where he nonchalantly dinked the ball over a Leeds player and then fed VLP as the ball came down was out of this world.

Bunn - 6 - only negative, was largely anonymous and forgot he was on pitch for most of it.

Van La Parra - 9 - outstanding performance. Was our main threat going forward in the first half and was beating people for fun at times. Should have had a penalty and if it wasn't Rob Green's save he could have scored goal of the season and one of the best of the year from any team. I was almost in shock.

Payne - 8 - Buzzed about and was brilliant when he got the ball but got starved of service by them in the second half, we need to get the ball to him in more dangerous positions and he'll tear up more defences.

Kachunga - 8 - Worked his socks off and some of his first touches bringing the ball down from high balls was sublime.

Magic magic times to be a town fan. I'm going up for QPR next week and staying the night as well. If I had more days off left to take I'd go down for Brighton as well. UTT

Enjoy your night in Wakefield, ELT. Thumb up

These sure are good times. I said somewhere that I was as excited about this season as I was at the start of 79/80. I never thought we would start this well and I don't think we'll score a hundred goals but flipping heck, this is great.
