It would cut most of that out n'all Imre. No more panic buying 3 or 4 players (at inflated prices) and trying to shoehorn them in to the team which, as you say, f'ucks everything up until the end of October.

Some fans are going to be disappointed this season. At this pace we might make another PO push next season. Solidify the squad a bit more, and rid ourselves of the dead wood.

Not even pub league Clubs are after our dead weight. We've nothing like most Clubs that we can afford to let go for a few million to subsidize anything substantial. That's how crap our squad has been.

The difference now is that we don't need to sell our best players like we have seen some championship clubs do. We have a number of players who would go for a few million quid but DC has made it clear we are not selling any of them. Aside from removing the wage burden, getting rid of the deadwood does nothing for us anyway as most of them would hardly attract any money from clubs below us, and even if we sent them out on loan we would probably still have to pay a decent portion of the wages.

Window is now closed, although deals can still be done but not announced yet up to 11pm. So now we know the squad, how does it stack up?
